Please READ Carefully:  This application is for individuals who completed or enrolled in the program OR Master of Science degree through the University of Memphis Leadership Department and applying for an Instructional Leadership License or Aspiring Leadership License.  IMPORTANT: If you received a Master of Arts in Teaching Degree, this doesn't qualify you for an ILL license without additional coursework.  If you have questions regarding this application, please email Ms. Lanier at mlanier@memphis.edu.

As you were previously enrolled in our principal certification program but did not complete the first phase of the required steps for obtaining the Instructional Leadership License - Aspiring (ILL-A) at the time of your initial enrollment, you are no longer eligible for the ILL-A since it is only available to candidates actively enrolled in an approved instructional leadership preparation program.

If you hold a Tennessee license in Elementary, Early Childhood, Integrated Early Childhood, English As Other Languages, or Special Education, please upload your Reading 360 certificate onto your TN Compass account.  If you have questions regarding this matter, please email Ms. Lanier. at mlanier@memphis.edu.
