Educator Disposition Assessment- Four Indicators 

 

Undergraduate Students: Please complete the self-assessment as a requirement of your Tier 2 through Tier 3 TEP and K-12 Minor students.

Graduate Students: Please complete the self-assessment as a requirement for TEP Admissions.

 

University Instructors: A student has requested that you complete the Educator Disposition Assessment as a part of their Teacher Education Program application.

Using the EDA 
CAEP, the UM College of Education’s accreditor requires education programs to address and assess candidates’ dispositions throughout their coursework and during field experiences. Dispositions are the attitudes, values, and behaviors that shape how educators interact with students, colleagues, and families in their work guiding P-12 student learning and development. The Educator Dispositions Assessment (EDA) was created by the University of Tampa and validated with over 700 hours of work. We believe it is reliable. It is housed in LiveText which also houses assessment and field placement information for UM Candidates.
